1. Install Windows ADK
2. Install Windows PE add-on
3. Install MDT
4. Create Deployment Share
5. Import your custom windows11.wim
6. Create a Task Sequence
7. Update Deployment Share
8. Use LiteTouchPE_x64.wim in WDS


Install them in this order:

1. Windows ADK 10.1.26100.2454
2. Windows PE add-on 10.1.26100.2454
3. MicrosoftDeploymentToolkit_x64.msi

When installing the ADK, you only really need to select:

Deployment Tools

Optional:

User State Migration Tool

Then install the WinPE add-on after that. Without the WinPE add-on, MDT cannot properly create the boot image for deployment.



The WIM you import

In MDT:

Deployment Workbench
→ Deployment Shares
→ Your Share
→ Operating Systems
→ Import Operating System
→ Custom image file
→ Select your windows11.wim
